I'm sitting in my very comfortable home in Park City wondering whether I'll get on skis today because of high winds. My FNBF* Bob had told me yesterday that they were predicting wind gusts up to 80 mph as part of today's storm. I've no updates on how strong the wind is, but here's the current view from my window:
As compared to a more peaceful morning:
I'm in no hurry at all, but Bob has a streak to protect (he has skied every day that Canyons has been open since the start of last season). Wind gusts at 60 mph were enough to delay Friday's opening by some two hours.
